The Landscape Maintenance Production Supervisor is pivotal in our Property Services Team. This position works closely with the account manager to oversee the operations of our field staff and requires an organized individual with attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated team, apply innovative landscaping techniques, and enhance the beauty of client properties.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Supervision:
- Oversee field operations for a defined list of customers.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and strong communication.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to SLP's quality standards.
- Enforce company policies and procedures through routine feedback and discipline policy.
- Provide routine performance feedback to crews and conduct annual reviews of field staff.
- Conduct regular training sessions on landscape maintenance techniques, including gardening, mowing, and specialty services.
- All other duties as assigned.
Customer Service:
- Interact with customers periodically to facilitate positive interactions between the customer and SLP field staff.
- Participate in handoff meetings between sales and operations to understand the scope of work of each new client property.
- Follow the procedure for reporting issues with customer properties.
Operations:
- Facilitate communication between members of the team by translating from English to Spanish.
- Coordinate resources such as labor, equipment, and materials.
- Communicate job notes to crews to ensure they fully understand the scope of work for each scheduled job.
- Review work tickets to review time and material allocations.
- To help maintain operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and a smooth transition to the following day, complete the End of Day Checklist to ensure all necessary tasks are completed at the close of a business day.
Skills and Qualifications
- The ability to translate verbal and written communication from English to Spanish on an intermediate level.
- Skilled in operating tools, vehicles, and small engine equipment safely.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- A valid driver’s license
- DOT Medical Certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stand or sit for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Weekends and extended hours as needed)
- Seasonal end date: 7 months or as determined by operational needs.
