We are looking to hire HVAC Installers to our growing team!


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting pay range $20-25/hour (DOE)
  • Set weekly work schedule, always have 2 consecutive days off.

What does an Installation Technician do?

You will be traveling to customer's homes as one of a team of 2-3 installers. The lead installer will direct you as you assist to remove the customer's old equipment and install new heating and cooling equipment. This includes tasks like running wire through walls, fabricating and installing duct work, installing refrigeration lines, replacing venting, and putting new equipment in place. You will typically assist on 1-2 jobs a day.


Job Duties:

  • Organize, load, clean install trucks.
  • Laying out supplies and organizing vehicles pre­install.
  • Properly leveling ground for the outdoor unit and placing outdoor unit pad. 
  • Layout and assist lead with installing line set.
  • Install ductless mini splits, including: refer lines, line hide, condensation lines and control wiring.
  • Braze refer piping connections.
  • Cut interior wall penetrations.
  • Mount and wire thermostats.
  • Properly install and hook up high and low voltage control wiring.
  • Perform system commissioning on basic unitary forced air and ductless systems. 
  • Properly commission communicating systems.
  • Clean site indoors and outdoors.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Physically  able to carry out manual labor for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Be comfortable with and physically able to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, work in tight quarters and in the different weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to talk about the install with customers.
  • Previous experience doing manual labor required.
  • Experience working in construction field preferred.
