Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Field Operations Manager to lead and oversee glass installation field training for the corporate Gatsby Glass team. This role is ideal for a construction management professional with expertise in glass installation techniques, project coordination, and team leadership. The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, mentoring installation teams, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and industry best practices.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Training & Skill Development: Design and implement training programs for glass technicians,      addressing skill gaps and incorporating the latest industry advancements.
  • Project Leadership: Mentor installation teams, collaborate with stakeholders to optimize      solutions, and lead by example with quality workmanship and adherence to      safety standards.
  • Educational Resources: Develop manuals, videos, and presentations while maintaining a      resource library for continuous skill enhancement.
  • Quality Enhancement: Improve installation quality by sharing advanced techniques,      conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Safety & Compliance Culture: Promote a safety-first culture by integrating protocols into      training and emphasizing compliance in all installation work.
  • Collaborative Communication: Work with project managers and teams to exchange      knowledge, share insights, and keep stakeholders informed on training      progress and impact.
  • Other duties may be assigned 
Requirements
  • GED or high school diploma required
  • Minimum of five (5) or more year’ of glass installation or construction management experience, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
  • Strong knowledge of glass and hardware materials, techniques, and industry best practices
  • Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • In-field troubleshooting and independent decision-making for successful outcomes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with discretion as appropriate
  • Management of multiple projects simultaneously and prioritization of tasks effectively
  • Collaborative approach for continued teamwork
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
