Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our client's organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be a dynamic leader with a passion for our mission and a proven track record in nonprofit management. This role demands a strategic thinker with expertise in leadership, fund development, and budget management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategic Direction:
    • Provide visionary leadership, setting strategic goals and ensuring the alignment of the organization's efforts with its mission.
    • Inspire and lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
    • Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization, promoting its mission and programs to various stakeholders.
  • Fund Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from diverse sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring effective stewardship and appreciation.
  • Budget and Financial Management:
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
    • Work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and monitor annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
  • Board Relations:
    • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish and implement organizational policies and strategic plans.
    • Inform and engage the board with timely updates and reports on the organization’s operations, financial status, and key issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within a nonprofit organization.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and donor development.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
