Job Summary


A Quality Technician plays a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring exceptional quality standards across our operations. You will contribute to identifying quality risks, supporting improvement initiatives, documenting best practices, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.


 Job Responsibilities


Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze potential risks to consistent quality outputs.
  • Support departmental efforts to enhance quality through inspections, research, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Document and communicate best practices, non-conformances, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide coaching, support, and education to employees on quality methodologies and tools.
  • Contribute to the reduction of quality-related cost drivers.

Specialization-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth investigations into externally reported non-conformances, determining validity and root cause.
  • Maintain and report on quality performance metrics for assigned sales divisions (Corporate, Hospitality, QSR/McDonald’s).
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective action, preventive action, and verification of effectiveness activities.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of cross-departmental best practices.

Requirements

Education and Experience


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action, and verification of effectiveness.
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing Quality Engineer or similar role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, including root cause and corrective/preventive action analysis.
  • High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in complex issue resolution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
