Description

Join our team in Boise! We're hiring an Assistant Events Coordinator for our non-traditional marketing team. This position is responsible for assisting our Events Coordinator in building our promotional event opportunity network in each of our service territories to meet overall monthly lead goals. The event coordination team is the nexus between our event marketing teams and the many events we attend annually in each territory. This position will oversee booking events, coordinating with third party event managers, building and maintaining information systems, and communicating this information with our internal events teams.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Researches and discovers new events in each territory
  • Ensure that events in each territory are secured and booked from conception to completion
  • Utilize and update required documentation for each event to provide clear communication
  • Work directly with Event Leadership on new event ideas and events logistics
  • Negotiate participation, pricing and on-site booth locations that co-align with our departmental goals
  • Assist in formulating promotional value ads for onsite events
  • Organize and track payments and refunds for events
  • Utilize live events lists for each territory
  • Utilize and maintain a list of vendors to coordinate on site event opportunities
  • Participate in monthly meetings with leadership of each territory
  • Support our culture of delighting internal and external customers
  • Maintain company equipment and vehicles allocated to the department

Requirements
  • 2+ years previous experience in Event and/or Retail Marketing or other related fields and/or an Associates degree
  • Ability to build rapport with all internal and external contacts
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Relationship Building
  • Adaptability

Salary Description
$25 hourly plus bonus
