Essential Functions
Directs the departments to provide high quality accounting and customer service support to the physicians and Administrators.
Oversees the annual operating and capital budgets.
Oversees the annual audit.
Maintains the physician compensation computations for the Clinics.
Reviews the month-end operating and internal financial statements for Watson Clinic LLP, Watson Clinic Foundation, Watson Clinic Center for Research and Watson Clinic Taxable Trust.
Coordinates and leads the monthly finance committee meetings, in conjunction with the CFO.
Monitors the Clinic’s cash flow position.
Expands job-related knowledge and skills to improve department performance.
Performs any other duties required in connection with accounting support services for the Clinic as assigned by Administration and the CFO.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting. Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Seven years of previous experience in public accounting. Five years of supervised experience in private accounting. Computer literate with experience in both PC and mainframe financial applications.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Preffered Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strong communication skills both verbal and written, Strong presentation skills. Executive presence.
