Job Summary:

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and a safe work environment. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. As a key member of the Lawrence Operations Center team, the Warehouse Supervisor plays a vital role in ECI’s success by coordinating receiving, shipping, and material handling while optimizing product movement and storage systems. With a strong focus on cost efficiency, service excellence, and continuous process and safety improvements, this position is instrumental in enhancing operational effectiveness and supporting a high-performing warehouse team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily activities within the warehouse, ensuring efficient and organized storage, retrieval, and movement of goods. Manage warehouse workflow to ensure orders are processed, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure inventory accuracy and proper rotation. Collaborate with sales and supply chain to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure all items are accounted for.
  • Cycle Counting: Take responsibility for the cycle counting process, ensuring that regular inventory counts are conducted, and discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that focuses on safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and improve warehouse workflows. 
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean, safe work environment for all employees.
  • Problem-Solving: Address day-to-day challenges, such as inventory discrepancies, delays, or operational issues. Provide quick, effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products are correctly labeled, sorted, and stored in compliance with company standards and best practices.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular updates and reports on key performance metrics (KPIs) to the Supply Chain Manager.
Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will possess 5-7 years of experience in a warehouse environment 
  • Will have proven competency in leading teams and the ability to implement process improvements
  • Will have Knowledge of warehouse management systems, procedures, and best practices
  • Must be proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (ERP system experience is a plus)
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
