We are currently seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team and grow with us.

Job Description

The Residential HVAC Service Technician is responsible for providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for residential heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is motivated, customer-focused, and skilled in diagnosing and servicing a wide range of HVAC equipment.


Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
     
  • Overtime, weekends, and on-call rotation may be required as assigned.
     

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and service on residential HVAC systems in accordance with company standards.
     
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating and air conditioning equipment.
     
  • Make appropriate repairs and provide recommendations for replacements when necessary.
     
  • Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and solutions in an understandable and professional manner.
     
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.
     
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
     
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and professional appearance and work environment.
     
  • Collaborate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure customer satisfaction  


 

Requirements

   

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
     
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
     
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential HVAC service.
     
  • Universal EPA Certification (Type II minimum required).
     
  • Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documents.
     
  • Familiarity with a variety of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques.
     
  • Demonstrated experience with making repairs vs. recommending replacements.
     
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
     
  • Understanding of air balancing principles and techniques.
     
  • Must possess required hand tools.
     
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
