Description
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our Minnesota National team. This role involves assisting golfers with tee times, merchandise sales, and general inquiries while ensuring the pro shop is well-maintained and organized. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a passion for golf or retail, and enjoys providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist golfers with check-in, tee time reservations, and general inquiries
- Process transactions for green fees, merchandise, and golf equipment using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing pro shop, including stocking and restocking merchandise
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on golf apparel, accessories, and equipment
- Answer phone calls, book tee times, and provide information on course policies and events
- Assist with tournament registration and coordination as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
- Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests
- Follow all golf course policies and procedures to enhance the customer experience
Job Type: Seasonal or Year-Round (depending on location and availability)
Hours: Flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old (or meet legal working age requirements)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous retail or golf course experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking
- Basic knowledge of golf is preferred but not necessary
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
