Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator will manage our global logistics operations by managing domestic and international shipments through various carriers while ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to our customers. This role is critical in maintaining efficient material flow between external vendors and global customers while upholding quality standards and compliance requirements. This role reports directly to the Director of Global Operations and is based in Mansfield, MA.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and package materials properly to protect customer shipments during transportation
• Execute all sales order shipments to meet the promised delivery dates
• Coordinate with international service providers and customers to schedule transportation pickups
• Organize and manage finished goods inventory and supplies in appropriate stock locations
• Perform quality checks to ensure accurate items and quantities per sales orders
• Prepare finished goods and purchased components for sales order fulfillment
• Process all incoming shipments from vendors and customers, updating the SYSPRO system accordingly
• Participate in weekly COROR review meetings to provide updates on upcoming shipments
• Lead weekly RMA review meetings to ensure timely resolution and data management
• Manage customs compliance requirements including EAR99 regulations
• Support inventory control functions including cycle counting, kitting, and annual inventory
• Develop technical troubleshooting skills for RMA products
Performance Goals
• Ship 100% of sales orders accurately as outlined in the COSOR Report
• Drive RMA project to meet or exceed 21-day customer turnaround time
• Conduct daily COSOR report reviews to ensure shipping accuracy
• Maintain leadership in shipping portal accuracy across all carriers
Additional Responsibilities
• Serve as liaison between Customer Service and shipping for urgent orders
• Provide proof of shipment information and tracking numbers when requested
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping, and receiving
• Experience with international shipping and carrier platforms (FedEx, UPS, DHL)
• Working knowledge of SYSPRO ERP software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
