Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Marketing, the Global Marketing Manager – Strength Products | Commercial will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for our strength equipment category. This role requires a deep understanding of the strength training market, industry trends, and customer needs across diverse global environments and channels. The successful candidate will be highly organized and have a strong background in product marketing, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration. They will be responsible for leading product launch strategies, crafting compelling messaging, and driving go-to-market plans that elevate our strength product portfolio and deliver measurable business impact.
Additionally, the candidate must ensure that all marketing efforts align with Matrix brand guidelines, maintaining consistent messaging, visuals, and tone across all global markets. As a brand steward, they will play a key role in ensuring that all campaigns and assets reflect the premium positioning and strategic vision of the Matrix brand.
Responsibilities
Support all elements of our comprehensive marketing program with a specific focus on strength product marketing.
Product Marketing
- Product Launches: Collaborate with product development teams to create and execute launch packages tailored to the strength equipment category, ensuring alignment with diverse market and customer needs.
- Determine global positioning and key messages of new and existing strength products and solutions across brands for commercial segments and brand initiatives.
- Establish and manage marketing launch plans and product repositioning plans from start to finish.
- Identify opportunities to develop new assets, refine messaging, and launch new campaigns that drive business growth for existing strength products and solutions.
- Develop a robust suite of sales enablement materials—including product demos, videos, webinars, collateral, landing pages, and web content—while integrating engaging digital tactics such as social media reels, behind-the-scenes product showcases, and influencer partnerships to amplify awareness and drive demand for Matrix strength equipment.
- Oversee and maintain product catalogs for the strength category, working closely with product and creative teams to ensure accuracy and impact.
- Develop and deploy after-sales communication campaigns that commercial customers can use to promote Matrix strength products or programs to their members. Leverage digital strategies such as customizable social media content, including short-form videos, testimonials, and workout demonstrations, to help customers effectively market our strength solutions and enhance member engagement.
- Ensure that all product marketing efforts, including positioning, messaging, and creative assets, align with Matrix brand guidelines and maintain brand integrity across all global campaigns.
- Work closely with the product training team to ensure all collateral and presentations accurately reflect the Matrix brand and best position our strength solutions.
Sales support
- Work with global strategic account sales teams to identify areas where global marketing can better support their efforts in the field with product-specific campaigns and assets.
- Identify opportunities to best support our global subsidiaries’ social media and content marketing programs for our commercial business.
- Act as a strong brand advocate to ensure adherence to the guidelines and voice of the Matrix commercial brand strategy, supporting global subsidiaries and strategic accounts in maintaining brand consistency.

Education:
- Minimum of four-year degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or other related field related.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in executing marketing strategies and programs
- Experience in B2B marketing highly preferred, with a proven ability to develop strategies that drive engagement and sales in commercial markets.
- Experience in the fitness industry, particularly in strength training, is highly desirable. A strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscapes in the strength equipment space is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in leading product launches, from strategy to execution, focusing on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market planning.
- Proven project management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve desired work product
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing the market; developing and executing marketing strategies; and achieving results
- Proficiency in digital marketing tactics, including social media strategy, video marketing, and influencer partnerships, to enhance brand visibility and product awareness.
- Experience working with multiple geographies and global subsidiaries preferred
- Experience managing project budgets
Other Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required, domestic (1-2 times per year) and potentially international (~1 time per year)
