JOB TITLE: Financial Aid Coordinator DEPARTMENT: TSP Institutes

Reports To: Controller
Primary Objective: This position provides assistance and guidance to Institute students seeking tuition funds through Federal Grant programs, Federal student loans, and private lending.
Responsibilities:
- Review financial aid applications and follow up for all necessary documentation required
- Process tuition payments, review outstanding balances, create financial reports and collaborate with finance dept for reconciliations
- Process applications for all Federal Grants programs, all Federal Loans programs and all private lending programs
- Ensure accurate documentation of student files
- Assist with submitting documentation for Federal Compliance Audit
- Stays abreast of all financial aid updates and Regulations
- Provides guidance and information to students on lending options
- Performs other duties as assigned
General:
- Work in accordance with the Aveda Mission Statement; adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred
- Experience with financial reports and financial calculations preferred
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong computer skills especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
