The NFPA is looking for an experienced Strategic Planning Analyst with a strong focus on creating, developing, and maintaining strategic plans that drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business goals into actionable strategies, and documenting complex processes in a clear, concise, and results-oriented manner.

In this role, you will work closely with leadership and department heads to craft comprehensive strategic plans, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with long-term business objectives. Your writing will help shape the company’s direction by delivering actionable insights, clear roadmaps, and performance metrics to drive business growth and operational excellence. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Strategic Planning.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Plan Development: 

· Collaborate with executives and departmental leaders to write and maintain detailed strategic plans aimed at driving revenue growth, optimizing operations, and achieving company goals.

Goal Setting & Alignment: 

· Clearly articulate business goals, growth opportunities, and operational challenges within the strategic plan, ensuring alignment across departments and stakeholders.

Data-Driven Documentation: 

· Utilize data analysis, market research, and financial performance reports to support strategic recommendations, and integrate findings into cohesive, actionable plans.

Performance Metrics: 

· Define KPIs and success metrics within strategic plans to measure progress, and incorporate tracking mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

· Work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, Global Business Development and Marketing teams to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned with functional priorities and resource allocation.

Plan Updates & Revisions: 

· Regularly review, revise, and update strategic plans to reflect business changes, emerging opportunities, and new market conditions.

Executive Reporting: 

· Prepare executive summaries, reports, and presentations that communicate strategic insights and recommendations to leadership teams and board members.

Requirements

  

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Communications, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in business writing, strategic planning, or a similar role focused on revenue growth and operational efficiency.

· Proven ability to create clear, concise, and actionable strategic plans and business roadmaps.

· Strong understanding of business operations, financial modeling, and performance metrics.

· Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.

· Experience collaborating with executives and cross-functional teams.

· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
