Landscapes Golf Management (LGM) and Shoreline Golf Course are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Snack Bar Attendants to join our team for the upcoming golf season. The ideal candidates will provide excellent service to our guests, ensuring a positive experience at our snack bar.  MUST be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides informal fast food and beverage service in the snack bar. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Takes orders, prepares and serves food and beverage products.  Rings in sales, secures payment and balances register at end of shift.
  2. Prepares and serves a limited menu of snack bar items, such as sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc., following established recipes and procedures.
  3. Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
  4. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, and beverage dispensers.
  5. Maintains proper food handling and sanitation practices in production, storeroom, service and other areas.
  6. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, and production, storeroom, service and other areas.
  7. Gathers supplies from club’s kitchen and storeroom; ensures proper transfer and storage to snack bar facility if applicable.
  8. Provides adequate display of garnishes and condiments for “self-serve”.
  9. Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service policy.
  10. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.
  11. Empty trash as needed throughout the day.
  12. Assists in main dining and others as needed.
  13. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
  14. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Can compute simple math and count change accurately 
  2. Good oral communication skills
  3. Able to provide a high level of customer service with attention to detail.
  4. Able to obtain a food handler’s permit or certification.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Previous experience in food service preferred

  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-50%
