Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst’s primary responsibility is to support divisional and corporate decision-making. This position will focus on reporting, analysis, data integrity, modeling, metrics, forecasting and budgeting. The successful candidate will be able to convert data to conveyable information to facilitate the best possible business decisions and improve operating results. This role will have a special focus on providing ongoing financial support and analysis for large external clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Primarily supports the Finance team with the production of monthly and quarterly standardized reporting for external clients.
- Manages relationships with the associates from AD’s large external clients by providing ongoing special assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Supports Vice President, Finance by managing internal business unit and divisional requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides reporting requirements to the Reporting team to assist in the automation of standardized requests.
- Acts as AD Finance subject matter expert to provide internal and external assistance on complex financial matters.
- Provides additional support to the FP&A and Reporting teams, as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Working knowledge of financial concepts and ability to incorporate into meaningful financial analysis.
2. Ability to synthesize complex or disparate data points into cohesive and actionable information and relate to expected outcomes.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to independently identify and drive issue resolution.
4. Proficiency in financial modeling. Exceptional Excel skills include advanced formulas, macros, data tables, sensitivity analysis, and simulations.
5. Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
6. Strong written and oral communication skills; well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly to any level of the organization in both positive and negative situations.
7. Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics; MBA or relevant Graduate Degree a plus.
2. Minimum three to four years relevant experience in financial planning and analysis in a consulting, banking, or corporate setting.
3. Previous data warehousing and reporting-tool experience; preferably in Qlik Sense or equivalent.
Additional Comments:
1. Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some overtime is required).
2. Position is based in Wayne, PA where we have a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office (Tuesdays-Thursdays in office & Mondays and Fridays remote).
3. Travel: 1-2 trips per year (3-7 days per trip).
