Job Summary
The Franchise Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the daily operations and expansion efforts of our hospitality group. Reporting to the Senior Director, Franchise Operations & Quality Control, this position focuses on the operational development of Sal’s Pizza Express and ensures uniformity in quality control across locations. The ideal candidate will streamline processes, assist with key initiatives, and drive operational improvements that contribute to the overall success of the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Director in managing logistics and coordination for new store openings, ensuring adherence to timelines and operational standards.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication between corporate teams and franchisees to align operational updates, best practices, and key initiatives.
- Assist in procuring necessary equipment for new locations, ensuring timely delivery and proper setup.
- Coordinate training programs, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing franchisee support to uphold operational excellence.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across all locations while maintaining alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges, collaborating with teams to implement effective solutions.
- Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of permits and licenses for new and existing locations, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain detailed records for new store setups, including equipment, permits, and compliance documentation to uphold company standards.
- Work closely with marketing and design teams on renovation and development plans, ensuring brand consistency and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in an administrative role within hospitality or franchise operations is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
