The Restaurant Manager ensures that the restaurant delivers attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient service. This role involves managing operations within budgeted payroll and overhead costs while continuously enhancing sales revenues for the Restaurant, Room Service, Bar & Lounge operations to exceed budget expectations. The Restaurant Manager will work as needed throughout each day to fulfill job responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staffing levels and payroll to stay within budgeted costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue across all service areas.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet budget goals.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain service standards and promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; alternatively, a 2-year college degree plus three or more years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
-Ability to perform well in high-pressure and stressful situations. Must maintain composure and objectivity under stress.
