Job Summary:


The Multimedia Designer will support the creative team by producing high-quality visual content across multiple platforms, including print, digital, video, and social media. This role is responsible for designing marketing materials, developing multimedia assets, and ensuring brand consistency across all creative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of graphic design principles, motion graphics, and content creation, working collaboratively to bring marketing campaigns and organizational messaging to life that reflect JVCHC’s commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare services to underserved populations.


Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Graphic Design: Create visually engaging graphics for digital and print materials, including social media, web, email, and promotional assets.
  2. Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the organization’s brand guidelines and messaging.
  3. Multimedia Content Creation: Develop motion graphics, animations, and video content to support marketing initiatives.
  4. Video Editing: Assist in editing and producing short-form video content for digital platforms.
  5. Marketing Collateral: Design brochures, flyers, posters, and other promotional materials as needed.
  6. Social Media Support: Create graphics and multimedia content for social media campaigns.
  7. Website & Digital Assets: Design web banners, email templates, and other digital assets to enhance online presence.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director and marketing team to execute campaign visuals and creative strategies.
  9. File Management: Maintain organized design files and assets for efficient access and version control.
  10. Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  11. Assures all privacy/HIPPA protections are maintained in the development/publication of Clinic’s communications/media. 
  12. Promotes effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Clinic’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
  13. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
  14. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2-4 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work is required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in branding, digital content creation, motion graphics, and basic video editing is highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. 
  • An Associate degree or relevant certification, combined with equivalent work experience, will also be considered. A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant skills may substitute for formal education.
