Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Guest Services
Ø Professional and cheerful greeting of all visitors and tenants
Ø Use of LA Same day programs to provide information, directions and itineraries
Ø Distribution of maps, brochures and travel related materials
Ø Management of 1st floor movie and exhibits areas at opening and closing times
Ø Coordination with custodial to maintain 1st floor in a neat and orderly manner
Ø Solicitation of demographic information from all visitors and tour groups
Safety & Security
Ø Working knowledge of life safety, emergency and alarm procedures
Ø Monitoring of visitor traffic to ensure travel-related business purpose
Ø Greeting of visitors to upper floor tenant offices, appropriately notification
Ø Monitoring of parking lot to deter illegal parking, authorization of towing if necessary
Ø Directing of security guard as appropriate
Other Responsibilities
Ø Compiling of daily records if needed
Ø Reporting of all maintenance or electronic problems to supervisor
Ø Completion of any request made by supervisor
Requirements
Qualifications:
Travel Counselor must be able to perform each essential duty as listed above satisfactorily.
