School bus drivers provide safe transportation to and from program sites and field trips per YMCA policies and state laws.  Complete thorough before and after trip checks each day and record all information on the bus logs and proper forms.  Promote safety at all times by keeping first aid supplies fully stocked and always checking that everyone is off the bus when arriving at destinations.  Clean out bus each day and maintain cleanliness.   Ensure that bus rules are announced and complied with. 

At least one year work experience as a school bus driver preferred.  Possess current appropriate class license (CDL Class B, or higher with P endorsement).  Knowledge of the rules and guidelines related to commercial passenger vehicles.  Adult and Child CPR and First Aid required.  Current DOT physical examination clearance to drive is a must.
