The Managed Print Services Specialist supports the sales team by providing expertise in managed print solutions. This is a sales-focused role that involves assessing client needs, recommending value-driven solutions, and supporting the sales process through proposal development and client-facing presentations. The specialist also ensures efficient implementation and long-term success of print services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client printing environments to identify needs and opportunities for improvement.
Solution Recommendation: Develop and present customized managed print solutions to clients, emphasizing benefits such as cost savings, efficiency, and security.
Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team throughout the sales cycle to develop proposals, participate in client meetings, respond to RFPs, and help close deals.
Implementation Support: Coordinate with technical teams to assist in the deployment and configuration of print management software and hardware, ensuring seamless integration and client satisfaction.
Training: Train clients and internal staff on the use and advantages of managed print solutions to support adoption and ongoing success.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on print usage, costs, and performance to provide insights and recommendations that support retention and future sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in the copier/printing industry or a related field
- Proficiency in print management software and hardware, including troubleshooting and system familiarity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions in a business-focused way
- Must be able to travel between Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus (no overnight travel)
