Schedule: Between the hours of 9am - 5pm M-F - hours will vary based on business needs.

Expected Starting Wage: Anticipated at $23 - $24, depending on experience.

What You Will be Doing:

The Camera Tech & Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is a dynamic position that combines two part-time roles into one full-time opportunity. This role prioritizes camera installation and maintenance, with fleet maintenance responsibilities filling out the remainder of the schedule.

The position includes the following duties:

Camera Tech Duties:

  • Install cameras promptly for new and existing clients.
  • Perform daily electronic audits to ensure all field cameras function correctly.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace cameras as needed on-site.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of improved processes, technologies, and systems.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence when resolving escalated or complex situations.

Fleet Maintenance Duties:

  • Use fleet maintenance software to manage vehicle servicing.
  • Schedule maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire replacements, and other necessary services.
  • Review daily vehicle check-in/out forms to assess maintenance needs.
  • Conduct weekly quality assurance inspections for each vehicle.
  • Ensure all vehicles have up-to-date insurance, fuel cards, registrations, and license plates.
  • Maintain complete safety and tool kits for all vehicles.
  • Coordinate with the vehicle insurance company for processing claims.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in operating and troubleshooting computer systems, including software, hardware, and low-voltage systems like security cameras and cabling.
  • Low-Voltage Skills: Skilled in installing, maintaining, and repairing low-voltage equipment using industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge: Familiarity with vehicle systems and basic repair tasks, including battery replacement, windshield wipers, headlamps, and taillights.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks for both fleet maintenance and camera installations to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Attention to Detail: Capable of conducting thorough inspections and identifying potential issues in vehicles and equipment.
  • Record-Keeping Expertise: Experience maintaining accurate records for fleet maintenance, repairs, registrations, and insurance.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors, service providers, and team members.
  • Software Proficiency: Experienced in using fleet management software to track schedules, logs, and maintenance records.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Resourceful and efficient in addressing unexpected technical and operational challenges.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols to ensure vehicles and equipment meet regulatory and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and insurability.
  • Exceptional initiative and self-management skills with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
