Description

Provide guests with personalized and luxury service. Assist all guests with a wide scope of service and be a liaison between guests and other internal departments. Collect and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area, including local dining and attractions. Ensure accuracy, follow-through and timeliness in all services to guests.


Essential job functions include:


  •  Maintain familiarity with local attractions and restaurants and have a thorough knowledge of Resort property, staff and services to communicate to guests. 
  • Maintain strong working relationships local establishments, vineyards, and other tourist locations.
  • Spearhead amenities for all guests.
  • Handle of VIP and repeat guest program initiatives. 
  • Offer to make all guest reservations, on or off property.
  • Provides guests with travel information, such as transportation options and costs.
  • Follow up with guest requests in a timely manner.  
  • Demonstrate anticipatory service to meet and exceed guests’ needs.
  • Coordinate transportation and special events shuttle to/from hotel with the Bell staff (including ticket sales for UVA events.)
  • Maximize sales revenue through the sale of gift certificates and upgrades. 
  • Frequently monitor lobby/ordinary room/brochure rack aesthetics.
  • Handle special projects and requests per Front Office Management. 
  • Assist with prompt and courteous check-in/check-out of guests and other Front Desk duties when needed.
Requirements
  •  At least 2 years’ experience in Hospitality or related service industries.
  •  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Even disposition and ability to handle stress effectively.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Self-motivated and proactive. 
  • Ability to work weekends and extended hours on an at-needed basis.
