We’re looking for a dedicated Service Technician who enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with care. If you like solving problems, pay attention to detail, and feel comfortable in a busy service environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Performs work specified on a repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
  • Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisors so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Service department
  • Experience with Hyundai or KIA preferred
  • Completion of Kia’s Web-Based Training (WBT) courses 
  • Valid ASE Certifications - required
  • EPA 609 Certification for A/C repairs is preferred but not required. 
  • Advanced hands-on training and diagnostic skills 
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  •  State Licensing  

 All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
