Under the Warehouse Manager's guidance, the Warehouse Supervisor manages daily warehousing operations. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling activities to meet shipping/receiving schedules, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction requirements, either personally or by supervision of the rest of the warehouse team.

Requirements


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES


  • Implement and oversee operational procedures for warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, and verification of shipments, and loading of trucks and load checks.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory through cycle counts, proactive loss prevention measures, and timely communication with the inside team regarding low stock levels.
  • Regularly inspect the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment, documenting and addressing any damage or maintenance needs.
  • Work closely with warehouse manager and department heads to align warehouse activities with production, sales, records control and purchasing functions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, actively participate in planning personal and warehouse safety activities, and attend all branch and safety meetings.
  • Directly supervise warehouse employees ensuring adherence to organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Train and assist new employees, regularly planning, assigning, and directing tasks and responsibilities for warehouse staff.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and purchases, while ensuring customer satisfaction in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), at least one-year related warehouse experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds.
  • Valid forklift certification and current safe driving record.
  • Ability to read and write proficiently in English.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate and follow procedures.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with basic math and technology skills.


Starting at $20 per hour, based on experience
