General Carbide Corporation is looking for hardworking and dependable high school/CTC students to join our team as Summer General Laborers. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience. Under general supervision, this role involves performing unskilled and semi-skilled building maintenance, janitorial tasks, and other related duties as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks, including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials, painting, and maintaining parking lots and grounds. 
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, and maintaining work areas. 
• Provide support to skilled workers in various tasks as required. 
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines. 
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. 

Education and Requirements:

• Preferred but not required CTC students.
• Preferred but not required incoming Juniors or Seniors. 
• While performing the duties of this job, the candidate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. There will be indoor and outdoor work environments.
• Successful candidates must be clean shaven and may have to wear a respirator.
• Candidates must pass a physical and drug screening.
• Candidates provide and wear steel-toed boots.
