The LPN Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Licensed Practical Nursing program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness, including instructor supervision.
The Program Coordinator teaches in his/her assigned area, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction, is responsible for faculty training and development, and coordination and administration of the academic program for achievement of student outcomes. We are currently interviewing candidates for this on-ground, full-time position.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Possess effective interpersonal and written communication skills
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher
- Hold an unrestricted RN license to practice in North Carolina or in one of the eNLC compact states.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time clinical nursing experience
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level required
- Proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning preferred.
