Engagement Lodging Specialist – Empower the Future of Travel with Blockskye

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Engagement Lodging Specialist to work closely with our enterprise customer’s project team in support of their extended stay hotel program.
In this role, you will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to streamline lodging logistics, maximize cost efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lodging Rate Coordination; work with the customer’s project team to support their extended stay program requirements including:
- Manage the RFP process for engagement lodging sourcing requests
- Secure rates and special amenities options from suppliers for the customer to review
- Review rates submitted and audit in the GDS/OBT
- Communicate lodging details and rates to the requestor
- Vendor & Partner Management
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure competitive rate options, negotiate rates within project budgets, and initiate extended stay engagement documents for client approval
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; participate in supplier calls as needed
- Serve as point of contact/coordinator for virtual agency visits from preferred airlines and hotel suppliers
- Data & Reporting: Maintain lodging requests and details in Cvent (Lanyon) for tracking and reporting purposes
- Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure all lodging project/engagements align with company policies and client expectations
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, customer teams and suppliers to ensure extended stay lodging procedures are known and followed
- Manage the Engagement Lodging Desk mailbox in accordance with agreed processes and procedures
- 5+ years corporate travel and customer service experience, preferably with large enterprise/global clients
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Demonstrated problem solving, decision making and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Amadeus GDS and Cvent (Lanyon)
- Team player with a proactive approach to collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google suite to create documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
