Description

As FairCom’s Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creatively promoting our highly technical custom software. This role is a mix of digital marketing, trade show ownership, and brand development. You will execute effective campaigns to increase FairCom’s brand awareness and consistently generate new, high-quality leads, and will be pivotal in annual trade shows, managing everything from sign-up to post evaluation!

You will work with the world’s first converged IoT & IIoT hub, FairCom Edge, a solution providing real-time data and seamless integration for manufacturers across the globe, as well as our data modernization product, RTG, and our core product, FairCom DB, an advanced database engine focused on reliability and scalability. 


The Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the market to understand buyer personas, the competitive landscape, and contribute to strategy planning.
  • Seek out, plan, prepare, and attend tradeshows and events.
  • Develop and coordinate regular email marketing campaigns in HubSpot to existing and prospective customers.
  • Maximize the volume of inbound traffic from search engines to the company’s website through a combination of on-page and off-page techniques, including link-building, social media strategy, viral marketing, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization (SSO), content strategy, information architecture, and more
  • Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.
  • Work with our Product, Engineering, & Sales teams to define personas or target channels to fine-tune messaging for campaigns, posts, and the website.
  • Manage the marketing team as well as all related tasks such as hiring, training, project management, and performance management.
  • Up to 30% travel to attend Tradeshows and network with the DBMS Industry.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing management roles with a proven track record.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B Technology or SAAS Marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Marketing software systems such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Drift, Bots, etc.
  • Strong track record that shows successful go-to-market strategies and programs with measurable impacts on revenue contribution. 
  • Familiar with the basic concepts of a typical IT infrastructure, like servers, storage, business applications (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.), and the role a database plays in it.

Position Preferences

  • Master of Business Administration or other advanced Marketing/Technical education a plus.
  • Continued skill development such as Google Adwords certification or HubSpot Academy certifications. 
  • Experience with the following: FairCom DB, RTG, EDGE,  and/or IoT/IIoT.
