Description
We’re hiring a full-time Internal Audit professional with Banking industry experience (Supervisor / Manager) for our Risk Management practice. This role can be based in any of our Greater Pittsburgh offices: Warrendale or Green Tree.
Responsibilities
- Manage and perform a variety of internal audits of community bank financial institutions
- Develop relationships with all levels of client management
- Review and detail test bank internal controls and compliance programs based upon FFIEC, SOX, FDICIA, and banking industry standards
- Identify, develop, and document internal control or Bank compliance issues and recommendations using independent judgment
- Communicate the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and verbal presentations to management and Audit Committees of our financial institutions
- Prepare work papers consistent with IIA standards, as well as established firm standards
- Assist with special projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Management
- 4+ years of Bank Internal Audit or Compliance Audit experience or related financial services (banking) experience
- Working knowledge of Bank regulatory compliance, including lending regulations
- Applicable certifications, a plus (CIA, CERP, CRCM, CAMS, CFSA, CRMA, CFIRS, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of financial institutions’ control and regulatory functions
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid strategic thinking approach with risk awareness and appropriate judgment
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to travel regionally (90%-day with overnight 15 - 20% per annum)
