*Weekly Pay*Full-time Hourly Position starting at $16.00 DOE plus benefits.Located in Uptown Albuquerque, NM. Working out of Park Square Market.

  

Position Purpose: The Purchasing and Receiving Clerk at Park Square Market would be responsible for monitoring inventory, delivering materials to the production or various areas around the market and transacting materials in and out of the storeroom.  They are expected to be professional and energetic when they interact with vendors/fellow employees / guests.


Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Work under the direction of the General Manager.
  • Communicate daily with restaurant leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Review inventory and par levels, order inventory, unpack and receive materials into the company stockrooms, freezers or walk in coolers, and fill requisitions.
  • Deliver ordered items to different areas of kitchen and market, receive & track packages.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of hand trucks, review and order items for Event Orders in a timely fashion.
  • Use computer programs, including MS Excel to ensure departments are invoiced correctly.
  • Ensure freshness, counts and accuracy of all deliveries.
  • Track product inventory, utilize First In/First Out delivery method.
  • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards. 
  • Adhere to safety policies & procedures.  
  • Additional duties as necessary and assigned.
  • Attend required training sessions or meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned are consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.

Requirements

  

  • Ability to converse, read and write in English, with excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, lift and carry 50 pounds, push/pull 250 pounds, bend, and twist.
  • Experience using a computer and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs including weekends.
  • Must have Alcohol Certification.
  • Must be able to pass background and driving record.       
  • Able to work AM/PM shift.
  • Comfort with learning a point of sale systems.
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
