The Hinckley Company manufactures the world-renowned Hinckley & Hunt Yachts. We also operate 8 service yards along the East Coast for all brands of power and sailing yachts. We are hiring a facilities Manager to support our Stuart, FL location.


A Facilities Manager performs many maintenance, safety and management tasks that promote a clean and safe working environment for the building’s employees, including:

  • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of yard & work / storage buildings.
  • Performing routine maintenance & cleaning on facilities and making repairs as needed
  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
  • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities
  • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
  • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
  • Collaborating with upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
  • Minor dock repairs & electrical repairs 
  • Monthly, Quarterly & Annual inspections of safety equipment
Requirements
  • Two (3) to four (5) years' experience in facilities management, maintenance (property, HOA transferrable).
  • Vocational technical school degree/certification or high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) a plus!
  • Must be able to work 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday (Weekend/ overtime opportunities offered on a voluntary basis).
  • Physical requirements:  must be able to lift at least 50lbs, periodically climb stairs, ladders, kneel, squat, walk, sit, or stoop.
