Happy Floors is a Porcelain Tile Distributor that imports heavily from Italy and Spain. We have been Headquartered in Miami for over 30yrs and distribute nationwide. Tile industry experience is a huge plus.
Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst position will be responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, Purchase Order management, analyzing inventory trends and maintaining appropriate stock levels. Maximizing inventory productivity, with the overall optimization of our supply chain.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop effective forecast models based on historical sales data, demand patterns, industry trends and extrinsic data. Analyzes product lifecycle from introduction, promotions, discontinuation, and close-out.
- Manage stock levels to ensure items are fully stocked based on sales and projections.
- Monitor abnormal demand, take corrective action to adjust the forecast: prevent reoccurrence, maximize customer service and minimize excess inventory.
- Place purchase orders directly with international vendors on behalf of Happy Floors and decide on the quantities to order based on established guidelines and discretion.
- Drive data integrity including identifying and acquiring missing information.
- Manage vendor relationships: Provide 90 Day Forecast, Monitor In-Stock % to goal, identify future inventory risks due to production, develop production plans to ensure timely product shipments.
- Analyzes and manage proper inventory flow including demand planning & forecasting, setting reorder points, delivery scheduling, maintaining open purchase orders, performing pricing analysis, and managing receipt of goods
- Monitor pending purchase orders. Input changes, deletions, and additions to avoid transit delays and disruptions to inventory levels.
- Perform regular cost analysis on freight spend and optimization. Source and present new vendors or cost savings opportunities.
- Create reports and data visualizations to guide decision-making across the supply chain team.
- Liaison with the Operations, Finance, Sales, and Product team on future inventory requirements.
- Maintains regular communication with international suppliers, and various Supply Chain vendors.
- Identify and present areas of opportunity, improved practices or workflows. Draft and maintain SOPs.
- Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics from a four-year college or university and at least 3+ years of applicable experience; or 6+ years of equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical, analytical, organizing, planning, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills required.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products including MS Word, MS Outlook and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of BI Tools (like Power BI, Tableau, etc.) will be advantageous but not required.
