Overview:
- The Product Experience Manager is a hybrid role that bridges the gap between UI/UX design and product management. This position primarily focuses on creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces and experiences while actively defining product strategy and roadmap priorities. The ideal candidate is both a creative problem solver with a strong design background and a strategic thinker who can translate user insights into actionable product improvements.
Requirements
User-Centered Design:
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to refine and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data insights.
- Utilize AI-assisted design tools to accelerate ideation and iteration processes.
- Product Strategy Integration:
- Work with product management to define product vision and translate it into design requirements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a prioritized backlog of features, ensuring that design considerations are incorporated early in the product lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure seamless integration between design deliverables and development efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between design, development, and product teams to ensure a unified approach toward enhancing the user experience.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to align teams on product goals and UX improvements.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform both design and product decisions.
- Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user engagement, satisfaction, and usability.
- Advocate for user-centric design throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that user feedback is consistently integrated into product enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Design Expertise:
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in UI/UX design for digital products.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, along with interest in using AI-assisted design platforms.
Product Management Acumen:
- Experience in agile environments with a solid understanding of backlog management, sprint planning, and product lifecycle.
- Ability to translate user research and design insights into product strategy and actionable tasks.
Passion for AI Innovation:
- Keen interest in staying updated with AI advancements and understanding their applications in both design processes and product functionalities.
