About the Role

As a Market Solutions Associate Account Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Risk Advisors, Account Managers, and the Market Solutions team in marketing new and renewal business. You'll work closely with internal teams and insurance carriers to provide excellent service, secure competitive coverage options, and ensure accuracy throughout the process. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about the insurance and risk management field.


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare Policy and Underwriting Information: Gather and organize necessary details for market reviews, ensuring smooth marketing and program design.
  • Negotiate Coverage, Rates, and Terms: Work with carriers to secure competitive options that meet client needs.
  • Compare Quotes: Create clear comparisons of premiums, coverage, and exposure to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Stay Informed on Underwriting Guidelines: Keep up to date with carrier requirements to ensure proper coverage.
  • Prepare Initial Proposals: Assist in preparing proposals for review and finalization by marketing consultants and/or account managers.
  • Facilitate Client Transitions: Work closely with the service team to facilitate a smooth transition of clients from marketing to service.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Participate in meetings, mentor new team members, and contribute to special projects as needed.

What You Bring

  • Education and Work Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • License or Certification Requirements:
      • Actively pursuing industry designation of CISR or equivalent and a willingness to pursue additional designations as needed (CIC, CRM, AAI, ARM, CPCU etc.
      • Possess and maintain a Colorado P&C license.
      • Requires a current Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR
  • Insurance Knowledge & Underwriting: Understanding of insurance products, policies, and underwriting processes, with experience in ACORD applications.
  • Negotiation & Analytical Skills: Ability to negotiate terms with carriers and analyze insurance quotes for accuracy and coverage comparison.
  • Communication & Relationship Management: Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams, clients, and carriers.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and use Agency Management Systems for documentation.

    • Salary Range - Starting pay for this nonexempt position is $25.00 - 28.00/hourly. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience. In addition to regular pay, this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program. Bonuses may be available for client and employee referrals and for successful completion of approved industry designations.
