We are looking for a Showroom Manager to lead our St. Pete retail showroom, focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team development. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, customer-driven, and experienced in composites or related industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the showroom, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused environment.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate retail sales associates to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain product displays, inventory levels, and store organization in alignment with company standards.
  • Work directly with customers to provide product knowledge, recommendations, and solutions for their composite project needs.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, team productivity, and showroom metrics to management.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and timely customer fulfillment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Oversee and coordinate sales promotion activities, including the creation and supervision of merchandise displays and advertising efforts. 
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning. 
  • Reconcile cash transactions with sales receipts and maintain accurate daily financial records.
  • Ensure employee adherence to company policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail management/leadership role
  • Industry experience preferred — familiarity with composites, fiberglass, resins, or marine/automotive repair materials.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on management style.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
  • Ability to work two Saturdays a month
