Under the supervision of upper-level staff, the Engineering intern will work within our Engineering department alongside other engineers/mentors to complete actual projects and make valuable contributions to the business.
Responsibilities
· Implement material & parts tests with focus on data collection & analysis
· Setup, maintain, adjust & repair engineering tests & data collection as needed
· Perform some mechanical design & strength analysis of parts & service tools
· Shadowing members of their specific department as they perform their duties.
· Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording / maintaining accurate and complete records.
· Preparing reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and other documents.
· Assist with audits as needed.
· Working with various software.
· Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
· Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the field and office operations.
· Comply with OSHA, health, safety and environment requirements.
· May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals’ skills.
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program.
· CAD/Design experience is required. Solidworks preferred
