Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to automate the employees’ onboarding workflow, including systems integrations (HRIS, ITSM, Microsoft 365, CRM, ERP, etc.), access approval requests, access creation, etc.
- Support the effort to migrate some users from Windows 10 to the newer Windows 11 version
- Support the effort to migrate some on-premise servers to the cloud
- Working towards completion of bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
- Experience/Knowledge working in a Microsoft environment
- Experience/Knowledge with endpoint management (configuration, OS install/upgrade, etc.)
- Experience with Apple Mac management is a plus
- Good communication skills, time management and attention to detail
- Highly motivated, self-starter and with strong organizational skills
Experience to be Gained:
- Hands-on experience in a full Microsoft stack: Microsoft Entra, Defender, Intune, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Windows computers and Macs
- Develop communication skills by interacting directly with users from various departments
- Develop teamwork skills
Additional Information:
- Paid Internship – hourly rate dependent on class status
- Full time Summer 2025
- This is a remote opportunity that can be done from anywhere in the continental United States and/or Canada
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. Canadian Compensation Range: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $18.50 - $24.00 CAD per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. AEM considers a wide range of factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, licensure and certifications, key skills as well as other market and business considerations when extending an offer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
