GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Capital Markets Associate will work within Capital Markets team with specific focus of data analysis and remittance report reconciliation surrounding secondary market transactions including loan sales, financing facilities, and securitizations.
In this position, you will:
- Manage ongoing reporting requirements related to secondary market transactions, including servicer and asset management remittance reconciliation, portfolio reporting, and monthly warehouse line payment processing.
- Prepare securitization bond investor performance reports, servicing transfer interim collections reconciliation, and servicing data analysis, validation, and reporting.
- Track cash management activities for loan sales, warehouse lines, and securitizations.
- Assist in loan sales by conducting portfolio inventory analysis, creating and maintaining data tapes, and ensuring data quality validation.
- Manage settlement calculations, cash flow, and loan-level due diligence with a focus on data comparison reporting.
- Fulfill ad hoc reporting and data requests from the Capital Markets Transaction Manager.
- Monitor financing facilities, including borrowing base management, collateral monitoring, and submit tracking.
- Review loan-level due diligence results and process payoff requests related to loan sales and securitizations.
- Assist in securitization issuances by aggregating performance data, preparing marketing materials, and conducting servicing data analysis and reporting.
- Manage portfolio performance reporting for senior management by analyzing key metrics and compiling relevant reporting materials.
- Create ad hoc performance reports and maintain updates in capital markets secondary marketing materials.
Successful candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role involving mortgage loan servicing, loan sales, loan acquisitions, or financing.
- A general understanding of real estate lending with business purpose lending is preferred.
- Strong analytical background with proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel.
