Summary:
The Administrative Intern role has a strong focus on the Human Resources and Accounting industries. This role will work under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager to provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Accounting departments. This role is designed to offer practical experience to students or recent graduates in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, and administrative tasks. Our interns gain insight into HR processes and contribute to essential functions while learning valuable skills.
Responsibilities:
? Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
? Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
? Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner.
? Performs other related duties as assigned.
Human Resources
? Files documents and answers applicant and team member inquiries.
? Schedules interviews and confirms applicant availability.
? Gathers and organizes job applications when needed.
? Assists in checking overall compliance with labor codes and applicable local and state laws.
? Participates and assists in career days and company social and networking events.
? Assist in organizing company events.
? Posts job advertisements on external job boards.
? Send job offers and rejection letters to candidates.
? Assists with all new hire onboarding.
? Hire all new team members into our HRIS system.
? Assists in uniform inventory/distribution.
Qualifications:
? Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Psychology, Human Resources, Accounting, Communications, or related
? Minimum GPA of 3.0
? Knowledge of U.S. Labor Laws preferred
? Proficient in MS Office
? Able to demonstrate professional work ethic
? Able to maintain flexible work schedule
? Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
? Good interpersonal and organizational skills
? Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
? Handle sensitive information with honesty and integrity.
