Description

Weaver Fundraising is the industry leader providing superior technology and service in product fundraising for over 44 years. As a Software Engineer on our Jamboree Product and Engineering team, you will play a key role in bringing a brand-new mobile fundraising product to market. Your primary responsibility will be to help create a native mobile application that enables users to raise money quickly, easily, and securely for their organizations. This role offers a chance to shape a product from its infancy, growing and learning alongside it. The best candidates for this role will demonstrate a combination of mobile software engineering expertise, user empathy and creative problem-solving skills. 


Location: Indianapolis, IN (hybrid) 


HOW WILL YOU HELP US GROW? 

  • Developing innovative solutions for complex problems related to the youth fundraising market 
  • Creating and maintaining well-designed, testable, efficient code 
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems 
  • Work with the product team to create a useful, delightful product experience 
  • Collaborate on a long-term product roadmap and facilitate timely delivery of features and improvements in accordance with the plan 
  • Analyzing existing systems to provide recommendations for improvement 
  • Monitoring system performance and performing predictive maintenance 
  • Performing system risk and reliability analysis 
  • Assessing new technologies before adoption and implementation 
  • Effectively communicate with users, team members and company leadership, ensuring all parties are clear on product direction and priorities 
  • Prioritize essential features that will help our users reach their goals 
Requirements

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE? 

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Software Engineering, with specific focus on iOS and Android development 
  • Experience working with modern web and mobile frameworks such as Remix and React Native 
  • Ability to build simple and delightful UI elements using modern CSS techniques and frameworks 
  • Strong command of TypeScript and JavaScript, operating in both browser andNode.js runtime environments 
  • Demonstrate strong user empathy and advocacy 
  • Previous B2C or PLG experience is preferred 
  • A demonstrable history of creative problem solving 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Proven track record of delivering products on time and meeting business objectives 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving team environment 
  • Previous work on a new product is a big plus!
