Job Summary:

SPL is growing and is currently looking for an I&E Technician I in Williston, ND. The I&E Technician I must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of I&E systems while maintaining safety, compliance and applicable codes of standards. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduit Installation, pull electrical wire and cable;
  • Installation of instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic devices;
  • Maintenance of tools and equipment;
  • Troubleshooting process systems; 
  • Operate low-voltage electrical systems;
  • Job and ticketing creation and tracking;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be mechanically inclined;
  • Requires previous experience with typical hand tools and power tools;
  • Must have an Apprentice Electrician’s license;
  • Intermediate knowledge of measurement and production systems;
  • May be required to obtain DOT Medical Card;
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds;
  • Must be comfortable working in hot/cold/inclement weather conditions.


Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of education.


Travel Requirements:

This position requires some local travel.


Work Schedule:

This position will work 8-16 hours Monday-Friday in SPL’s Williston, ND location. This position is subject to after-hours and weekend availability to meet deadlines.
