DEPARTMENT : Resort Services (seasonal)

REPORTS TO: Resort Services Manager



SUMMARY:


The Marina Lead will assist the Resort Services Manager with scheduling and supervising marina staff. Keep inventory of all equipment, report repairs, and replace items as needed.  Coach/teach staff on guest relations and customer service. Responsible for renting watercraft and equipment; cares for the beach and waterfront; provides instruction on proper use of equipment. Assist guests with campfire and s’mores. May assist with all resort activities. Perform outstanding guest service daily. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication and interact daily with guests and resort staff.  


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


  • CPR and / or First Aid certification preferred.  
  • Boating and fishing experience required. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests.
  • Maintain daily checklists of things to do – Verifying completed tasks
  • Coach/teach staff at any and all teachable moments
  • Oversee daily/nightly operations of the marina
  • Maintain a positive work environment for all staff
  • Assists guests with rental of boats and fishing equipment through Maestro and POS. 
  • Cleans and cares for beach, pool area, docks, boats, and work areas. 
  • Drive pontoon boats and other watercrafts. 
  • Instructs guests on use of all non-motorized watercraft. 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the marina. 
  • Make sure relevant paperwork is completed and turned in and daily drop. 
  • Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • Valid Driver’s License. 
  • Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.

Salary Description
$14.56 to $17.47/hour
