Your Role as a Design Engineer

• Take the lead on design tasks for transportation and infrastructure projects
• Develop engineering plans, calculations, reports, and roadway models
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and agencies to deliver top-quality solutions
• Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals and preliminary project evaluations
• Work with the latest industry software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Open Roads Designer, StormCAD, and more
• Engage in hands-on learning while working alongside experienced engineers

 What You Need to Succeed

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana (or the ability to obtain)
• Passion for transportation and infrastructure design
• Experience or coursework in INDOT, municipal, and county projects
• Technical proficiency in Civil 3D, Open Roads, and drainage modeling software
• Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for innovation
