Hourly Compensation: $27.00 per hour

Ritter Center is currently recruiting a Case Manager for our Case Management Team. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Program Manager for Case Management and is based in San Rafael, CA; the role operates out of our Main Campus.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Ritter Center is hiring a Case Manager for our Case Management team

**This role is based in SAN RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, NORTHERN CALIFORNIA**

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Case Manager is a role that provides direct services to Marin County’s most vulnerable populations. These services Include processing applications for financial assistance, Coordinated Entry, and ongoing Representative Payee services. A smaller portion of this position involves referring clients to other social services. This role works directly with the Case Management Program Manager to provide and coordinate the full scope of our services and expand the number of total clients served.

This position is appropriate for someone passionate about access to equitable patient care, adept at assisting people who are underserved and/or experiencing homelessness and has worked as a mental health professional. A qualified applicant is someone with experience serving as a Representative Payee or in dealing with Social Security Benefits such SSI and SSDI. Our ideal candidate works well in a dynamic environment with a high degree of patience and compassion. Familiarity with Ritter Center and other Marin County social service providers, as well as Rep Payee, are strongly preferred.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage public benefits and personal finances

  • Provide information and referral resources for homeless and at risk populations
  • Conduct Coordinated-Entry enrollments and assessments
  • Work well in a highly collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Social Security Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Per OSHA requirements, employment at Ritter Center requires compliance with being able to produce a negative TB test prior to the start of employment and being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless applying for an exemption) per the August 5th State Public Order for Healthcare Facilities, providers, and employees.
  • Empathetic, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with Social Security Benefits
  • Experience as a Representative Payee
  • Experience working in a Mental Health Care Facility
  • Experience providing individuals currently experiencing or with a history of homelessness.
