We are seeking a Marketing Brand Manager to lead brand strategy, reputation management, digital marketing, and community engagement for our local operations in Renton, WA.
Position Overview:
The Marketing Brand Manager is a full-time, in-office leadership role, requiring 40+ hours per week to lead by example and ensure the consistent growth of South West Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electric’s brand. This role will oversee and manage the marketing team, including interns and a marketing coordinator, driving accountability, execution, and continuous improvement across all marketing efforts.
The Marketing Brand Manager will be the strategic marketing leader for South West Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electric. This role will oversee the marketing team, brand reputation, and performance marketing efforts, ensuring that all brand touchpoints align with our premium service standards. The Marketing Brand Manager will be responsible for driving awareness, increasing online reputation, supporting lead generation, and optimizing marketing performance across all platforms.
This role reports to the General Manager and works in close collaboration with local leadership, marketing coordinators, and the Brand Manager and VP of Marketing at Flint to execute high-impact marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy & Market Growth (30%)
- Serve as the lead marketing strategist for South West Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electric.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan in partnership with the General Manager and VP of Marketing.
- Ensure all brand messaging, creative assets, and marketing campaigns align with South West’s premium service positioning.
- Identify gaps and opportunities within the local market to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Work cross-functionally with sales and operations to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
2. Reputation Management & Customer Engagement (20%)
- Lead initiatives to increase and maintain a 5-star reputation on Google, Yelp, Facebook, and other review platforms.
- Develop internal programs to encourage employee engagement in review generation and customer experience enhancement.
- Proactively manage negative reviews and customer complaints, working closely with the customer service and operations teams to mitigate issues before escalation.
- Serve as a brand ambassador in the local community, building relationships with influencers, local businesses, and media partners.
3. Digital Marketing & Performance Optimization (30%)
- Oversee SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing to drive lead generation and hold vendors accountable for outputs and results weekly and daily.
- Track and analyze marketing performance data to optimize budget allocation and ROI.
- Work closely with Flint Group’s marketing team to leverage corporate marketing resources and best practices.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and agencies to ensure campaign execution aligns with brand goals.
4. Community Engagement & PR (15%)
- Organize and execute community involvement initiatives, including charity events, sponsorships, and media outreach.
- Develop and distribute press releases and local PR efforts to increase positive media coverage.
- Partner with local organizations and chambers of commerce to enhance South West’s presence in the community.
5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration (5%)
- Oversee and mentor the marketing team, providing leadership and development opportunities.
- Conduct bi-weekly marketing meetings to align with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
- Collaborate with Flint Group’s Brand Manager and corporate marketing team to share insights and leverage national marketing strategies.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in home services, franchise, or consumer brands.
- Strong expertise in brand management, digital marketing, and reputation management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
- Experience with SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and PR initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, interpret, and optimize marketing performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
