Description
Valpak/Clipp is seeking a Sr Talent Acquisition Partner to join our fast-paced and ever-evolving company. The ideal candidate will strategically source candidates for positions in assigned areas. Responsible for understanding knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fulfill anticipated and current talent needs of the organization. Partners with Hiring Managers and the Human Resources team to source, recruit, and make recommendations for hiring in alignment with cultural competence objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full life cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling interviews, and making recommendations for hiring top talent, and hand off for onboarding candidates.
- Promotes the employer brand by providing consistent messaging to candidates in regards to company values, purpose, goals, and mission.
- Establishes sourcing strategies by meeting with Hiring Managers to discuss talent needs and requirements. Uses a variety of tools to source both passive and active candidates, screens, evaluates, tracks, and recommends qualified, diverse applicants to Hiring Managers.
- Determine applicant requirements by reviewing job descriptions and job qualifications and refers candidates who are most qualified by conducting initial phone screens, analyzing responses, and documenting them for future reference.
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements/requisitions on appropriate job sites, actively searches resume databases, networks, attend job fairs and virtual job fairs, and participate in other relevant recruitment opportunities.
- Coordinates schedules to include pre-screening processes and interviews.
- Regularly follows up with Hiring Managers and candidates to monitor effectiveness of recruitment process and ensure timely responses.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal and industry networks; and participating in professional organizations.
- Follows company policies and procedures to make offers, conduct background checks and drug screens, and onboarding processes.
- Update job postings with creative requisitions/ job postings
- Presents ideas for process improvement and efficiencies
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment regulations.
- Performs related work and additional duties as needed or required.
Education/Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a similar field is preferred.
- 3+ years of proven professional media sales recruitment experience is required, including proactive and strategic sourcing of candidates.
- Proven and demonstrable experience recruiting within the Media, Broadcast, and Digital Media landscape
- Experience using applicant tracking systems.
