Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

This position transports deceased individuals from various locations on a “on call” basis, primarily dedicated to be available evenings and weekends and/or weekday daytime coverage.

  • Other duties as assigned to include light maintenance, cleaning, filing, etc.


Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

  • Must be able to work evenings which may fall on weekends and/or holidays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills and creativity to navigate unique situations and conversations
  • Ability to safely and efficiently drive a motor vehicle including ability to effectively locate addresses using GPS or other methods
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Must be able to work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out transports within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Must have excellent driving record, a valid driver license and pass a motor vehicle record check

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
