Description

The Officer, ULD Planning is responsible for balancing ULD stock levels across customer networks to meet scheduled and ad-hoc operational demands. This role involves monitoring airline schedules, raising disposition requests, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize ULD utilization while maintaining service quality and compliance. 


Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and Maintain ULD Availability Across Networks

Drive Results, Ensure Accountability, Business Insight

  • Track airline schedules, traffic, and ULD utilization to assess station requirements. 
  • Raise accurate and timely disposition requests to balance ULD stock across locations. 
  • Ensure station-specific requirements are incorporated into planning activities. 

Collaborate with Stakeholders for Effective Stock Control

Customer Focus, Collaborate

  • Coordinate with ground handling agents and field-based teams to distribute ULD stock per allocations. 
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers and Coordinators to address station-level imbalances. 
  • Follow up on disposition requests and ensure timely resolution of non-performance issues. 

Enhance Data Integrity and Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with ULD dispositioning policies to prevent service failures. 
  • Escalate recurring operational challenges affecting stock balancing. 
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of stock levels, movement, and utilization

Requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Experience in aviation operations, logistics, or ULD planning is an advantage. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and data analysis. 
  • Ability to work in a shift rotation (24/7) and hybrid work environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
